Tradewood is a multi-million dollar company with 25 years’ experience in the timber trade market throughout the U.K. and Ireland. I was hired to develop their non-existent marketing department. This started with a new modern logo and led to creating content for multiple print features and helping build and develop their first website. During my 3 year tenure, I worked to position Tradewood as a competitive company within a cutthroat industry as they expanded their footprint into mainland U.K. and Europe.

Along with a one other staff member, we formed a new start-up under the Tradewood umbrella called ‘Resistant Building products’ which specialized in a magnesium particle board. This new state of the art product needed a plethora of marketing and support material as an education tool to assist the sales agents when selling to retail and public. This material ranged from brochures, install guides, data sheets and the development of a separate website to support the case.

Cheetah… the first step to choosing a beautiful floor. Implementation of a new brand of hardwood flooring originally known as ‘Jaguar’ flooring. There were issues with copyright infringement and thus required a brand overhaul. A new name ‘cheetah flooring’ was adopted (flowing with the feline theme), and in line with an exciting new product range and accessories selection we were able to create a whole new brand and enter an elevated position in the market. Whilst previously dealing with wholesale only, this new brand was aimed at both the trade and consumer markets.
